Coimbatore District Election Officer/Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati calls for the participation of election expenditure observers in review meetings at the District Collector's office for the 2024 Parliamentary elections.

Coimbatore: In a move to ensure transparency and accountability in the electoral process, Coimbatore District Election Officer/Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has issued an announcement inviting all election expenditure observers for a series of review meetings. These meetings are scheduled to take place on April 5th, 10th, and 16th, 2024, at the meeting hall on the second floor of the District Collector's office.

The meetings are part of preparations for the upcoming 2024 Parliamentary elections in the Coimbatore constituency. They aim to scrutinize and review the election expenditures submitted by all candidates and their authorized agents. The observers are expected to bring along all relevant documents, including bills, vouchers, and the special bank account booklets used exclusively for election expenses.

This initiative underscores the importance of maintaining detailed and accurate records of election-related expenses to uphold the integrity of the electoral process. All candidates and their authorized agents are strongly encouraged to attend the review meetings without fail, along with their photo identification, to participate in this crucial aspect of election preparedness.
