SP Velumani targets Annamalai, citing BJP's shortfall in booth agents.

AIADMK former minister SP Velumani criticized Annamalai's approach to elections, emphasizing the need for effective booth agents. The meeting was attended by prominent party members including candidate Singai Ramachandran and MLA P.R.G Arunkumar.


Coimbatore: A significant meeting to motivate the cadres for campaign was organised byAIADMK, today.

Former Minister SP Velumani, candidate Singai Ramachandran, and MLA P.R.G Arunkumar took part in the meeting and addressed the cadres to campaign vigorously for victory. 



Velumani, in his remarks, targeted Annamalai with satire, emphasizing the necessity of organizing booth agents before participating in elections, subtly pointing out BJP's shortfall in that regard. He also took aim at DMK's Ganapathi Rajkumar, reflecting on his previous association with AIADMK. Velumani charged him with disloyalty, noting Rajkumar's enjoyment of multiple positions in AIADMK before moving to DMK. Velumani confidently asserted this ensures Singai Ramachandran's win in the Coimbatore constituency.

Following Velumani, Singai Ramachandran encouraged the attendees, emphasizing that they all play a crucial role as candidates in securing votes for victory. 



The event saw a large turnout of AIADMK cadres and allies. Additionally, former AMMK district secretary of Coimbatore, Aladeen, along with members, joined AIADMK under SP Velumani's leadership, marking a significant moment in the meeting.
