A man who declared 76 acre of ancestral property is accusing me wrongly of using my dad’s MLA quota: Singai Ramachandran Demands Apology

ADMK parliamentary candidate Singai Ramachandran accuses Annamalai hailing from Karur of misleading statements about his education and land ownership. He challenges Annamalai's credibility and demands an apology for dishonoring his late father.

Coimbatore: In a recent statement, ADMK parliamentary candidate Singai Ramachandran has accused Annamalai, “a BJP member from Karur contesting in Coimbatore, of making misleading statements regarding his education in MLA quota”. He further questioned Annamalai’s statement of coming to Coimbatore a poor man while he declared owning 76 acres of farmland in his electoral affidavit declaration”, raising questions about his honesty.

Ramachandran shared his family's struggle, emphasizing how his mother single-handedly raised him and his father on a meager rent of Rs 2000, and how they couldn't afford the expenses for his father's funeral.

He expressed his distress over Annamalai's remarks about his late father, stating that such false information has deeply troubled his relatives and supporters. Ramachandran insists that Annamalai owes an apology for the distress caused.

Moreover, Ramachandran challenged Annamalai, highlighting the need for civil politics and criticized the BJP, Annamalai, and even Narendra Modi for their alleged involvement in a Rs 6000 crore election bond scam. He questions how Annamalai affords his lifestyle and points to rapid growth in quarry ownership among Annamalai's relatives as a matter of public concern.

Ramachandran made bold claims about withdrawing from politics if Annamalai secures 60% of the vote or if BJP wins in 39 places, underscoring his confidence in the electorate's judgment. He remains seated outside the building where voting machines are stored, signaling his distrust towards the BJP and demanding a return to respectful discourse about the deceased and an apology from Annamalai.
