TNAU organized 'AgriTech Manifest’24'

The symposium was programmed in fourteen thematic areas, comprising Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Food Process Engineering, and Renewable Energy Engineering. 375 research papers have been received for presentation in the symposium in both online and offline streams.


Tamil Nadu Agricultural University’s Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Coimbatore organized “AgriTech Manifest’24”, International Technical Symposium on "Farming the Future: Engineering the Sustainable Agriculture" on March 19 th 2024. Experts from the field of engineering shared their experiences for improving the farming community and around 600 students participated in the event.

This symposium provided a platform for exchanging the ideas from young buds from different institutes to offer the engineering solutions for making more profitable and sustainable agriculture. The symposium was programmed in fourteen thematic areas, comprising Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Food Process Engineering, and Renewable Energy Engineering. 375 research papers have been received for presentation in the symposium in both online and offline streams.

The Registrar, Dr.R.Thamizh Vendhan, Ph.D. TNAU delivered the keynote address and Dr. A. Raviraj, Dean (Engg.) and Dr.N.Venkatesa Palanisamy Dean (Agri.) delivered the felicitation address. The event was honoured by Er.Rajasekhar Siddheswaran, Deputy General Manager, John Deere India. He inspired students by sharing his professional experience and showed a glimpse of his contributions to the society as a proud alumnus of the College. The souvenir of symposium was released by Registrar & Chief Guest.

Dr.R.Kavitha Head of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering Department presented the welcome address during the inaugural session. The vote of thanks was proposed by the student organizing secretary Pranav Krishna. The event was meticulously planned in the presence of Dr.R.Kavitha and Dr.A.P.MohanKumar, Organizing Secretaries, Agritech Manifest’24, and students of B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) 2020 batch in successful manner.
