CM MK Stalin chaired a welfare assistance event near Pollachi in Aachipatti, where he inaugurated completed projects and laid the foundation for new initiatives worth ₹1274 crores, benefiting 25,000 individuals.

Coimbatore: Chief Minister MK Stalin made a significant appearance at a welfare assistance event in the Aachipatti area, near Pollachi, Coimbatore district, marking a noteworthy step towards the development of the region. During the event, Stalin inaugurated completed projects and laid the foundation stones for new development initiatives valued at ₹1274 crores.

Moreover, he distributed welfare benefits to 25,000 people, underscoring the government's commitment to enhancing the livelihoods of its citizens.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Stalin highlighted his satisfaction in participating in the event that aimed to deliver welfare schemes to the districts of Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, and Nilgiris. He expressed his pride in fulfilling the promises made during the election period, stating his confidence was bolstered by the unwavering support and trust from the people, which he feels even more strongly now, three years into his administration.

Stalin also reminisced about the famous song "Pothiyai Yerri Vandiyila Pollachi Sandhaiyile," using it to emphasize the unique contributions and the special attention Pollachi receives from the state government. Further into his speech, he detailed the government's efforts in Coimbatore district, including welfare assistance amounting to ₹1441 crores provided to 1.48 lakh individuals over his four visits. This fifth visit, according to Stalin, demonstrates continuous support and dedication towards the development of the region.

The Chief Minister proudly listed the achievements of his government over the past three years, including the Dravidian model governance, which has introduced schemes like the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thittam, Vidivelli Payanam for women, Puthumai Penn Scheme, morning meal scheme, Illam Thedi Kalvi, Nammal Mudhalvan scheme, mobile hospital units, and direct procurement of coconuts through cooperative societies to support coconut farmers.

Stalin's speech also took a critical turn as he addressed the false narratives and slanders spread by some against the developmental work and welfare schemes implemented by his government. He urged the public to recognize and reject such falsehoods, emphasizing that his administration's efforts have led to significant improvements in Tamil Nadu's industrial, employment, and economic sectors.

Concluding his address, the Chief Minister stressed the unity and resilience of the people of Tamil Nadu against any attempts to undermine the state's progress and dignity. He called upon everyone to stand together to achieve greater development, combat fascism, and uplift Tamil Nadu and India as a whole.
