Coimbatore: A heart-wrenching accident that occurred on February 9 near the gas company in Periyanayakanpalayam has come to light, causing widespread shock and sorrow across the community. Ashok Kumar, a municipal water supply worker from Koodalur, his wife Sushila, and their 3-year-old child were riding on a bike when they were struck by a speeding private bus, leading to the tragic loss of Ashok Kumar and his child.



The harrowing incident was captured on CCTV, and the footage, released online on February 14, shows the terrifying moment the private bus collides with the bike at high speed. The video has sparked outrage and brought attention to the dangers of reckless driving, especially by large vehicles like buses in residential and crowded areas.
