Comprehensive Medical Insurance Camp Launched in Pooluvapatti Panchayat

Marking the centenary of Dr. Kalaignar, a comprehensive medical insurance camp, along with a loan distribution camp for small and medium enterprises and the formation of new women's self-help groups, was inaugurated today in Pooluvapatti Panchayat, Thondamuthur constituency.


Coimbatore: In the northern district of Coimbatore within the Thondamuthur legislative assembly area, the Pooluvapatti Panchayat hosted a significant event today (Feb. 8). Commemorating the centenary celebration of Dr. Kalaignar, a comprehensive medical insurance camp was launched alongside a loan distribution camp for micro, small, and medium enterprises and initiatives for establishing new women's self-help groups.



The event was initiated by the lighting of the lamp by Ravi, the DMK Secretary for the North Coimbatore District of Thondamuthur, signaling the beginning of these beneficial camps.



The local populace participated in large numbers, availing themselves of the various services offered. The event also saw the presence of prominent local leaders, including Panchayat President Rajalakshmi Sellappan, Thondamuthur North Union Party Secretary Sellappan (a.k.a.) Samipaiyan, Panchayat Secretary Sinraj, Deputy President Prakash, along with DMK administrators, party affiliates, and the general public, all of whom contributed to the success of this initiative.
