Coimbatore Councillor Ambika Thanabal Inspects Sanitation Works in Ward 27

Councillor Ambika Thanabal conducted inspections of the cleanliness drives in Peelamedu, Avarampalayam, and other areas of Ward 27, Coimbatore North, to ensure efficient waste management.


Coimbatore: Today, Councillor Ambika Thanabal from Ward 27, Coimbatore North, undertook a series of inspections in various parts of the ward to oversee sanitation works. This included the area in front of the Peelamedu post office in Avarampalayam where drain cleaning activities were in progress.

Councillor Thanabal also inspected the waste collection points in front of the Dasami Apartments and ensured that garbage bins were being cleaned thoroughly. She emphasized the importance of proper waste management to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the area.









Furthermore, she visited Kamala Gin Street and Dispensary Road to check if the daily garbage collection vehicles, including battery-operated autos, were functioning effectively. She instructed the sanitation workers to ensure comprehensive waste collection and advised the public to segregate waste at the source to aid in efficient waste management.

These inspections are part of the ongoing efforts to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in Coimbatore North, particularly in Ward 27, and to encourage public participation in keeping their neighborhoods clean.
