MLA V. Jayaraman Inspects Sri Vinayagar Temple in Pollachi

Pollachi's Ex-Minister and MLA V. Jayaraman conducted an inspection of the Sri Vinayagar Temple in APS Colony, ensuring its protection against proposed demolition.


Pollachi: Ex-Minister and current MLA of Pollachi, Dr. V. Jayaraman, visited the Sri Vinayagar Temple in the 34th Ward, APS Colony of Pollachi city today.



The temple, revered and frequented by the locals for many years, was under threat of demolition by the Pollachi Municipality.

Responding to the concerns of the local community, Dr. Jayaraman, along with Pollachi Urban District Party Secretary V. Krishna Kumar, personally inspected the temple. They assured the community that no harm would come to this place of worship. The locals had approached the former minister and MLA with a plea to intervene and ensure the temple's preservation.



This visit by Dr. V. Jayaraman and V. Krishna Kumar marks a significant step in addressing the community's worries regarding the temple's future. Their assurance of support reflects their commitment to safeguarding the cultural and religious heritage of the area.
