Coimbatore Councillor Ambika Dhanapal Distributes Uniforms to Sanitation Workers

In a move to enhance the dignity of sanitation workers, Councillor Ambika Dhanapal distributed new uniforms at the Ward 27 Health Inspector's office in North Coimbatore.


Coimbatore: On January 13, 2024, sanitation workers in North Coimbatore's Ward 27 were provided with new uniforms in a ceremony held at the local Health Inspector's office. Ward Councillor Ambika Thanabal handed out the uniforms, with Ward Supervisor Maheswari in attendance.

The initiative is seen as a step towards acknowledging the vital contributions of sanitation workers and improving their working conditions. The distribution of uniforms also aims to instill a sense of pride and belonging among the workers, as well as to promote hygiene and uniformity in the services provided to the community.
