Coimbatore: In a remarkable display of communal harmony, the Anuman Jayanthi festival at the Sri Kuber Anjaneyar Temple in Vishwanathapuram, near Thudiyalur, Coimbatore, was celebrated with great enthusiasm. During the evening procession, the temple chariot passed through the Thudiyalur area, which included the path leading to the local mosque.



As the procession approached the mosque, the mosque administration distributed sweets and water bottles to the festival committee members and attendees, showcasing a welcoming and respectful gesture. This act was greatly appreciated by the devotees and general public who participated in the festival.



The Anuman devotees and the public turned up in large numbers to partake in the festivities. The involvement of the Thudiyalur mosque leaders, including President Sultan, Vice President Sheikh Bawa Mahboob, and Secretary Ameer Abbas, along with other administrative members, added to the significance of the event.



Police and intelligence officers were also present, ensuring the smooth conduct of the festival. This event stood out as an exemplary demonstration of religious harmony in the area, highlighting the peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among different communities in Coimbatore.
