Coimbatore: In an event marked by controversy, a video has gone viral showing MLA Selvaraj from DMK's Tirupur South constituency demanding an apology from Assembly Additional Secretary, Ravichandran. The incident took place during the Karunanidhi Symposium held at Palladam's Government Arts and Science College as part of Muththamizharignar Kalaignar's centenary celebration.



The situation escalated when Ravichandran allegedly asked MLA Selvaraj to move from the stage, leading to a heated exchange. Following the confrontation, a video captured Ravichandran seeking forgiveness from MLA Selvaraj, which rapidly spread on social media.



The event, attended by dignitaries including Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister N. Kayalvizhi Selvaraj and Government Chief Whip Dr. G. Chezhiyan, saw a temporary walkout by MLA Selvaraj, who later returned to deliver his address after officials' intervention.
