The team of "Vattara Vazhakku", including director Kannuchamy Ramachandran, shares their experience working on the film, set in a rural backdrop without modern amenities.


Coimbatore: The crew of "Vattara Vazhakku", a film based on a unique storyline set in a rural area where no one wears shoes, met with the press at Coimbatore's Broadways Cinemas.



The film, released on the 29th, features music by Ilaiyaraaja and stars Santhosh Nambirajan and Raveena Ravi.

Director Kannuchamy Ramachandran, in his interaction, explained that the film is set in a village in western Madurai, capturing the essence of rural life in 1985. He praised Ilaiyaraaja's music as the 'hero' of the film, stating that despite budget constraints, Ilaiyaraaja composed the music without any expectations.

Actress Raveena Ravi spoke about the challenges of adapting to the village dialect and the lack of facilities during shooting, but emphasized that such experiences are invaluable for rural-themed films. The team's dedication to bringing an authentic portrayal of rural life in Tamil Nadu is evident in their work.
