PM Narendra Modi Launches Coimbatore-Bangalore Vande Bharat Train Service

Vande Bharat Express to Bengaluru will be open to the public from January 1, leaving Coimbatore at 5 am daily (except Thursdays) and reaching Bengaluru Cantonment at 11:30 AM. Train from Bengaluru Cantonment will leave at 13:30 hrs and reach Coimbatore at 20:00 hrs.


Coimbatore: The much-anticipated Vande Bharat train service from Coimbatore to Bangalore was inaugurated today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via a video conference from Ayodhya. This high-speed train service marks a significant development in the connectivity between these two major cities.





The inaugural event at the Coimbatore Railway Station which happened few days back witnessed the participation of Coimbatore MP P.R. Natarajan, Coimbatore South MLA and BJP National Women’s Wing Leader Vanathi Srinivasan, Salem Divisional Railway Manager Pankaj Sinha, along with senior railway officials, members of the Railway Passengers Association, and the general public.

This inaugural run of the Vande Bharat train was attended by school students and passengers, showcasing the modern amenities and comfort the service offers. Starting January 1, this train service will be open to the general public, as announced by the railway administration.

The Vande Bharat train, known for its speed and efficiency, is part of the Indian government’s initiative to modernize the railway infrastructure and enhance passenger experience. The launch of this service is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Coimbatore and Bangalore, thereby facilitating easier and faster commutes for both business and leisure travelers.
