Coimbatore: The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity marked their 27th year of steadfast service to the community with a grand celebration at "I Love Kovai," Ukkadam lake. Since its inception on October 29, 1997, the club has been a pillar of support in the community, continuously striving to make a positive impact in the world.

This year, as they stepped into their 27th year of service, the club organized a spectacular event filled with music and dance to commemorate the occasion. Hosted by Rtr. Subash, the District Professional Service Director of Rotary International District 3201, the event was a feast of cultural expressions aimed at community awareness and upliftment.

The celebration was made memorable with breathtaking performances, including a musical show by Darrel and a captivating dance performance by Dhanush.

Both performances resonated with the audience, adding vibrancy and energy to the event.

A notable aspect of the celebration was the club’s commitment to societal well-being. They used the platform to raise awareness against suicide, urging people to affirm life and "Say No to Suicide." Simultaneously, the event also paid tribute to the relentless fight against polio, marking the day as a celebration to end polio.

Leading the event was Rtr. Mehala, who wore multiple hats as the Event Chair and Project Chair. The President, Rtr. Maikchelraj, along with a dedicated team from the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Texcity and Council Members, presided over the event.

The ceremony was also graced by various Rotaractors from Rotary International District 3201, who came together to celebrate the spirit of service and community betterment.
