Speaking to reporters at the airport later, BJP national women's wing president Vanathi Srinivasan said, Loans worth Rs 3,749 crore were disbursed to one lakh bank accounts yesterday.

Loans have been disbursed under various schemes such as Mudra Yojana and Start-up India Scheme. This loan scheme will support the rapid development of Coimbatore.

This is the first time in Tamil Nadu that this mega loan disbursement event has been held. In yesterday's incident, one person said that he did not get a loan. His request was also heard.
