Community Gathering Programme at Ramanathapuram, Coimbatore - More than 300 pregnant women participate

[27-09-2023] MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, Coimbatore Corporation Mayor Kalpana, District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and others participated in the social welfare programme held at Ramanathapuram in Coimbatore district.


Coimbatore: More than 300 pregnant women were garlanded with bangles, garlanded with sandalwood and performed rituals at a community wedding ceremony. Saree, bangles, thali rope, kumkum and turmeric were also presented.

On behalf of the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme in Coimbatore, a community meeting was held at a marriage hall in Ramanathapuram.



Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, Coimbatore Corporation Mayor Kalpana, District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and others participated in the meeting.



More than 300 pregnant women participated.



On this occasion, pregnant women were offered bangles, sandalwood and rituals were performed.



Saree, bangles, thali rope, kumkum and turmeric were presented.
