Infant's dead body found in bushes in Coimbatore - Two special squads formed

Police have recovered the body of a newborn boy lying in a bush on the roadside near Kovilpalayam in Coimbatore district.



Coimbatore: A newborn boy was found dead in a bushy area near a private college on the Kovilpalayam-Coimbatore road in Coimbatore district. The people who passed by saw this last evening andinformed the Kovilpalayam police.



The police then reached the spot and recovered the body of the child and took it to ESI Hospital. Based on a complaint lodged by the village administrative officer, the police have registered a case and formed two special teams to investigate various angles.

Cctv footage in the area is also being examined. The body of a newborn baby was found on the roadside which has sent shock waves in the area.
