Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj inspected the preparations for the Kumbhabhishekam ceremony of Mariamman temple in Dharapuram on August 21.
Tirupur: Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj visited the Dharapuram Mariamman Temple and reviewed the arrangements for the consecration ceremony.
The famous Mariamman Temple is situated on the old police station road in Dharapuram in Tirupur district. The temple is about 200 years old and is visited by a large number of villagers in and around Dharapuram.
In this situation, the consecration of Mariamman temple will be held on August 21. As a result, the maintenance and repair work in the temple is going on in full swing.
Adi Dravidar Welfare Minister Kayalvizhi Selvaraj personally inspected the site. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the consecration ceremony.
So, on the 21st day of the consecration, how the police should be deployed for security duties and how to send the public for darshan without crowding, they carried out a study and consultation.
Dharapuram DSP Kalaiyarasan inspector Manikandan, revenue officials, municipal council president Babu Kannan, DMK city secretary Muruganantham and temple officials participated in the meeting.
