35-year-old woman admitted to Coimbatore GH with 80 percent burn injuries

A 35-year-old woman has been admitted to a government hospital in Coimbatore with 80 per cent burn injuries after a fire broke out due to a gas leak near Peelamedu in Coimbatore.

Senthil Kumar hails from Neerpanthal near Peelamedu in Coimbatore. He is survived by his wife Bhagyalakshmi (35). They have a 14-year-old son. Senthilkumar is said to have separated from Bhagyalakshmi eight years ago due to differences of opinion. Bhagyalakshmi lives with his son and runs a road flower shop in the same area.

She suffered 80 per cent burn injuries and was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital. Peelamedu police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
