Coimbatore Collector Inaugurates 'Toys for Kutties' Drive to Donate Toys for Anganwadi Schools

The Ashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School has initiated a Toys for Kutties drive in collaboration with Helping Hearts, an NGO, Integrated Child Development Services and Propel Industries' CSR division to provide toys to underprivileged children.


Coimbatore: The first-of-its-kind "Toys for Kutties" drive to collect toys for Anganwadi Schools was organised and officially inaugurated at the District Administration office under the auspices of District Collector Kranthikumar Pati I.A.S. in the presence of Corporation Commissioner M.Prathap I.A.S., Vidhya Senthilkumar, Director CSR, Propel Industries, C.Devendran, Chairman, Ashram Mat. Hr. Sec. School and M.Ganesh, Managing Trustee, Helping Hearts.



In collaboration with helpful hearts, an NGO, Integrated Child Development Services, and Propel Industries' CSR division, Ashram Matriculation Higher Secondary School started this initiative.



Numerous toys, both new and used, were donated, wherein ornamental and constructive toys were included.



Ashram Matriculation High School students attended the inaugural ceremony.



The District Collector said in a statement to the media about the drive: "Helping Hearts have already received recognition for their previous drive of collecting clothes and donating them to the needy and orphans. In a similar vein, this campaign is anticipated to succeed.
