In this regard, a medical camp was organised at the district administration office on Thursday.
This special camp consists of various medical examinations including orthopaedics, gynaecology, ophthalmic examination and other basic medical tests like diabetes and blood pressure.
The medical camp also provided advanced medical consultation for surgeries and other treatments. Allopathic prescriptions, Homoeopathy medications, and herbal remedies were all delivered at free of cost.
As many as 150 members of the press and media along with their family members benefited through this special medical camp.
This district administration project was carried out in partnership with Kovai Medical Centre and Hospital KMCH, which provided advanced medical care.
The inauguration of this medical camp was presided over by the district collector Kranthi Kumar pati I.A.S.
