Annamalai Pays Tribute to Coimbatore Student Jeevanath Who Tragically Lost His Life in London

Jeevanath had gone to the University of Aston in the UK last year to pursue his postgraduate studies. Unfortunately, two weeks ago, his body was found in the Birmingham Canal. His parents were distraught upon hearing of this news, and BJP state president Annamalai paid a visit to Jeevanath's residence to pay his respects and offer condolences to the family.



Coimbatore: BJP state president Annamalai paid homage and consoled the family of Coimbatore-based student Jeevanath, who died in London. Annamalai also promised to send Rs 3,000 per month to a differently-abled person who came there.

Sivakumar is from Thendral Nagar in the Narasimhanaickenpalayam area of Coimbatore district. His son is Jeevanath. He had studied PG at the University of Aston in the UK last year.

Two weeks ago, Jeevanath was found dead in the Birmingham Canal in the UK. Jeevanath's parents came to know about this and were shocked to hear about the incident.

The official cause of Jeevnath's death has not yet been disclosed by London police. There was little information available when student Jeevnath went to take a bath as to whether the accident actually happened or was caused by another factor.

Following this, Jeevanath's body was brought to Coimbatore, where his parents, family, and friends performed the last rites. BJP state president Annamalai was present at the wedding of a party functionary in Narasimhanaickenpalayam area on Monday.



Following this,BJP state president Annamalai came directly to Jeevanath Sivakumar's house and offered floral tributes and consoled their families.

When he came to the house of the deceased student, he found that a differently-abled man was a garden watchman in Periyanaickenpalayam area.



When I came to meet you today, I had been sacked from my job and Annamalai promised the differently-abled person that he would give you Rs. 3,000 a month on behalf of the BJP party.
