A 100-year-old peepal tree was uprooted near a school in Coimbatore

A Government Primary School in Highschool Pudur near Alandurai in Coimbatore, located at Koothandavar Koil Street, the school boasts of more than 50 students and an old peepal tree that has been standing in its area for over a hundred years.

More than 50 students are studying here. There is also a 100-year-old peepal tree near the school.

The very old peepal tree has become weakened.



In this case, the peepal tree was uprooted after becoming weakened due to severe gusts in the area at 2 p.m. today.



Hearing the sound of the tree slanting, the people nearby ran away from the spot. A man recorded the video on his mobile phone and posted it on social media. The video is going viral now.

At the same time, major damage was averted as no school children were outside as the tree fell in the afternoon.
