75th year CA Day: District Collector of Coimbatore, Kranthi Kumar Pati IAS, Inspires Chartered Accountants to Drive Economic Growth

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) celebrated the 75th Year CA Day with great enthusiasm and honour.



The esteemed Chief Guest for the event was the District Collector of Coimbatore, Kranthi Kumar Pati IAS, who is also a Chartered Accountant and the Guest of Honour was CA.G.Ramaswamy, Past President of ICAI.

The event witnessed the gathering of esteemed Chartered Accountants from the region, eager to hear the insightful address of CA Kranthi Kumar, who shed light on the current economic situation and the significant contributions made by Chartered Accountants towards economic growth. He highlighted the importance of the CA course, emphasizing the need for more career counselling to reach every corner of the country.

The occasion also included honouring the past chairmen and members who have completed 30 and 50 years in the profession, acknowledging their invaluable contributions.

Earlier in the morning, the flag was hoisted by the Past President of ICAI, CA G. Ramaswamy at the Institute Premises.



He addressed the members present at the institute, sharing valuable insights and experiencesA notable highlight of the event was the nationwide launch of the new Curriculum of the CA Course by the honourable President of India in Delhi, as part of the 75th year celebrations.

The members of the Coimbatore Branch, including CA.Nagakumar, Chairman; CA.VishnuAdithan, Vice Chairman; CA Rahul Chandrasekar, Secretary; CA Survajith S Krishnan, Treasurer; and Management Committee members CA Thangavel and Coimbatore CA Student Association Chairman, CA R. Sathish. Also in attendance were esteemed Ex-officio(SIRC) member of the Branch, CA S. Rajesh.
