MLA K Selvaraj distributes ₹50,000 assistance from his personal funds to shop owners who lost their shops in the Kaderpet Baniyan Market

As many as 50 shops were completely gutted in a fire that broke out at Baniyan Market in Kaderpet in Tirupur last night. Following this, Tirupur South MLA K Selvaraj donates Rs 25 lakh from his own money at the rate of Rs 50,000 each.



Tirupur: 50 owners who lost their shops in a fire at Kaderpet Baniyan market under Tirupur Corporation, Tirupur South MLA K Selvaraj donated Rs 50,000 each from his own funds.



As many as 50 shops were completely gutted in a fire that broke out at Baniyan Market in Kaderpet in Tirupur last night.



Following this, 50 affected shop owners Tirupur South MLA K Selvaraj donated Rs 25 lakh from his own money at the rate of Rs 50,000 each.



He also said that he would talk to the owner of the place and provide necessary assistance to set up the shop again at the same place. He also said that he would take up the fire incident with the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and take steps to provide assistance from the government.
