Communist Party of India organises nationwide campaign against BJP government at the Centre

The Communist Party of India (CPI) has launched a nationwide protest to condemn the BJP government at the Centre, demanding its removal from union rule and to protect the country and its people. As a part of this, it is being held at Kavundampalayam in Coimbatore.

Coimbatore: The Communist Party of India (CPI) has launched a campaign at Kavundampalayam in Coimbatore yesterday morning with the slogan of ousting the BJP government at the Centre from power.

In a statement, the Communist Party of India said, “It has been nine years since the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power. Before taking over the Union government, Modi and BJP also made a lot of promises and gave confidence to the people. The regime they run with corporate support, which looked like a balloon in the air, is exploding in crisis today.

“15 lakhs per house”, he said but they didn't even pay 15 rupees. He promised 20 million people to be employed annually, but tens of millions of existing jobs have already been taken away from people and they’ve been put on the streets. He said “i will eliminate black money, now it is fake money that runs the government.

I will make the price twice as much as the money the farmer spent on planting the crop, he said. By enacting farm laws he deprived them of existing rights. The farmers had to fight for more than a year, killing 700 people, and breaking the law.

It takes away all the rights of the workers who fought for 150 years. The Modi government has released four sets of laws. There is no longer any permanent worker, and only the daily wage earners remain.

A cooking gas cylinder which sold for Rs 450 has now gone up to Rs 1,150. The price of petrol and diesel has crossed Rs 100. This results in the prices of all commodities, including essential commodities. It goes up haphazardly.

Medicine and education have become commercial commodities. If you don't have a lot of money in hand, there is no education and no life. Adani with the support of the Modi government and the Ambani gang is looting the country.

Ports created by people with taxpayers' money for 75 years, Airports, flights, Highways. Trains, everything he gives away to corporate friends. Almost all of the military arms factories are given free of charge to private corporates.

Adani's empire, nurtured by Modi, has been shaken by the Hindenburg report. As many as 581,016 employees' provident fund and people's money worth thousands of crores of rupees have been disbursed to the Adani family.

If you open your mouth to talk about these things, Religion, Caste boasts and rages are thrown at people. They are shut up by creating riots and carrying out human killings. They're distracting.

Mother Earth must be rescued from religious fascism and corrupt slavery. Religious harmony and social justice must be established. Industrial and economic policies must be structured to benefit the community of the people.

To increase employment opportunities, to protect the legal rights of workers, to protect the farmers. The need of the hour is for the welfare of the workers to be protected and the people should be made aware and united.

The BJP, which has a pro-corporate capitalist and chauvinist policy, will have to be thrown out. Change can be brought about only through the unity of all secular democratic forces.

The Communist Party of India, a party that fights for the welfare of the people, firmly believes that a socialist India can be created where everyone has every opportunity.”
