Coimbatore: On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, an awareness street play was held in Coimbatore district.
World No Tobacco Day is observed on May 31. The World No Tobacco Day was observed by the District Tobacco Control Centre, District Legal Services Authority and CSW Foundation in Coimbatore.
Following that, an awareness street play event was organised. Bishop Appasamy Teacher Training College and I love Kovai Ukkadam conducted the street play based on this.
District Legal Services Authority Judge Siva, DDHS Deputy Director Personal Assistant T V Kumar, Tobacco Control Centre District Advisor Dr M Saranyadevi, Social Worker K Murali Krishnan, Psychologist M Taufiq and the Fazil team on behalf of CSW participated as special invitees.
