Everyone will cry Once the IT raid is over and the report is released - Coimbatore North AIADMK MLA Amman Arjunan

Amman Arjunan, MLA for Coimbatore North, took part in a protest against the DMK administration in front of the South Tahsildar's office. Condemning the attack on income tax officials, he intimated that everyone would cry when the report on the income tax department raid was released.

Coimbatore:Coimbatore North MLA Amman Arjunan has said that everyone will cry when the income tax raids are over and the report is released.

The AIADMK staged a protest in front of the Coimbatore South Tahsildar's office against the DMK government.

Slogans were raised condemning the circulation of illicit liquor, drugs and law and order in this regime.

Amman Arjunan, Coimbatore City District Secretary and MLA, led the protest.

The protest was attended by almost 500 individuals, including MLA K R Jayaraman and former mayor Velusamy.

Speaking to reporters at the protest, Amman Arjunan said, How many TASMAC shops have been closed during this two-and-a-half-year period? The government should disclose the amount of revenue received till then. They (the DMK) are brave enough to go and hit the income tax officers.

When the Tamil Nadu government arrests us if we do something, why is the Delhi government still waiting? And where has the law of preventing a government servant from doing his duty now gone? If the minister says he has nothing to do with the income tax raid, why did they attack the officials when the raids were being conducted at his brother's house?

In another 10 days, the details of the raid will be known and everyone will cry. All the allies of the DMK are silent as they get month-to-month tributes. Where did Vaiko go? This is what he said.
