On behalf of the DMK at Gudalur town in Coimbatore North district, a public meeting was held to highlight the achievements of MK Stalin’s government in the last two years. The meeting hailed the governance in Tamilnadu under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
Coimbatore: Gudalur Municipality President and City Secretary Arivarasu presided over a public meeting held at Samichettipalayam in Coimbatore.
In about 70 days, gudalur municipality has been ranked second in Tamil Nadu in collecting taxes, he said.
Speaking at a public meeting, Sindhu Ravichandran, deputy secretary of the state weavers' wing, said the DMK government has implemented various welfare schemes and development works in the last two years and implemented separate schemes for college students, women and the elderly.
The best government in India is headed by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Therefore, the DMK will win all the 40 seats in the coming Lok Sabha elections.
Following this, Coimbatore North district secretary Thondamuthur A Ravi, former MLA Dharmalingam, state agricultural workers wing deputy secretary P Arun Kumar and chief executive member T R Shanmugasundaram delivered the keynote address.
Members of Gudalur Municipal Council, DMK workers and the general public participated in the public meeting in large numbers.
