12 speed breakers installed without permission removed in Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner

Commissioner Prathap said speed breakers and footpaths at 346 places have been painted and work is underway to install signs in areas where the public walks and illegal ones have been removed.



Coimbatore: As many as 12 speed breakers installed without permission have been removed from Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner P Prathap said.

In a statement, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Pratap said, "

So far, 12 speed breakers installed without permission on Coimbatore Corporation roads have been removed.



Similarly, speed breakers and footpaths on corporation roads have been painted at 346 places with speed breakers and footpaths painted.

In addition, work has been carried out to set up markings to mark the area where the public is walking. This work will continue."
