The Bharatiya Janata Party staged a protest in front of the Madathukulam Tahsildar's office against the Kozhumam panchayat administration for tendering hair offerings to private parties at the Kozhumam Kottai Mariamman temple near Madathukulam in Tirupur.
The protest was headed by Madathukulam South Union President Prabhu, and it was accompanied by district general secretary Vaduganathan, district secretary Deivakumar, district advocate's wing secretary Anbu, district IT cell president Gunasekhar, and others.
The meeting was attended by Udumalai North Union President Nagamanickam, Udumalai West Union President Senthil Kumar, Udumalai West Union President Mariyappan, Madathukulam North Union President Maniyan, and over 100 people, including state district madathukulam south union and branch office-bearers.
