Astrologer's Rs 16 crore worth land grab : Coimbatore Municipal corporation officials reclaim it!

Police are investigating the case of a real estate dealer who grabbed land worth Rs 16 crore belonging to the Corporation through forged documents in Coimbatore. Moreover, the municipal administration is actively engaged in the process of acquiring the encroached land.

Coimbatore: Astrologer Narayanasamy is from the Coimbatore district's Cheran Nagar. He is a real estate agent.

In 2005, he had grabbed 36 cents of land in the Park Site in Vilankurichi Ramakrishna Layout through a fake map. Following this, the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation has issued notices to Narayanasamy thrice.

Action has been taken as per law against Narayanasamy for not responding to the notice.

Coimbatore Corporation is now demolishing 36 cents of land and a two-cent house constructed within it by a JCB vehicle.

It is estimated to be worth around Rs 16 crore in total.

Saravanampatti police are investigating whether Narayanasamy was involved in any other criminal activity by producing similar fraudulent documents.
