PMK's postal protest in Dharapuram for Vanniyar reservation demand

A protest was held in Dharapuram demanding 10.5 per cent reservation for Vanniyars by sending posts to Chief Minister M K Stalin.


Tirupur: In Dharapuram in Tirupur district, the PMK and vanniyar sangam sent 1,000 letters to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin at the Dharapuram head post office demanding the implementation of 10.5 per cent reservation for Vanniyars.

The event was attended by the PMK District Secretary Ravichandran and City secretary Praveen presided over the function. Earlier, more than 50 PMK activists came in a procession and sent a letter to the chief minister.



District secretary Ravichandran said, "We have sent 1,000 letters in the first phase. We will send 4,000 letters by The 31st," he said.
