Congress workers storm Palladam post office; Protest against Centre's ousting of Rahul Gandhi from Parliament

More than 60 Congress workers gheraoed the Palladam post office to protest against the Centre's move to strip him of his MP post.


Tirupur: Over 60 Congress workers gheraoed the Palladam post office in Tiruppur district, to protest against the Centre's removal of Rahul Gandhi from the Parliament.



Even as a large number of Congress workers, led by the Tiruppur district Congress President and Palladam town President Eswaramoorthy participated and gheraoed the Palladam post office raising slogans against the BJP and the Central Government, they were stopped by the police at the entrance.



The protesters also raised slogans against the Centre, claiming that the Centre had filed a false case against Rahul Gandhi and stripped him of his Member of Parliament post.
