Two lose their lives by jumping into a rock pit near Kinathukadavu

A man and a woman's bodies were recovered from a rock pit at Eluru, near Kinathukadavu, and sent to the Coimbatore Government Hospital. During the investigation, it was discovered that the two had committed themselves by consuming cow dung powder.


Coimbatore: A huge amount of water has accumulated in a rock pit near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district's Eluru.



The residents of the area informed Kinathukadavu police about the bodies of a man and a woman floating in the water in this rock pit.



On receiving the information, the Kinathukadavu police department immediately informed the Kinathukadavu fire department.



The fire department arrived on the spot and recovered the two bodies found floating in the water by tying a rope around them.



The bodies were discovered and taken to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.

After filing a case and conducting investigations, it was revealed that the two had committed themselves by consuming cow dung powder.

The age of the deceased man is 60 years and the age of the woman is 50 years.
