Coimbatore cleans up: Woman councillor's cleanliness drive viral video sparks sensation!

Despite directing corporation officials to clean up the park and streets in Vadavalli, Coimbatore, the work has not been carried out. A video of Sharmila Chandrasekhar, AIADMK councillor from Ward 38, willingly participating in the cleanliness drive has gone viral on social media.



Coimbatore: As the cleanliness drive was not carried out despite repeated complaints to the Coimbatore Municipal Corporation, sharmila chandrasekhar, a female councillor, came to the field on her own to carry it out.

Residents of Vadavalli in Coimbatore have complained to Sharmila Chandrasekhar, AIADMK councillor for ward 38, that cleanliness work in parks and streets is not being done properly.



According to reports, the councillor directed corporation officials to carry out the cleanliness drive, but no work was done. Councillor Sharmila decided to carry out the cleanliness drive on her own because no action was taken despite repeated complaints.



Acordingly, in the first phase, the Coimbatore Corporation-owned Cryo Garden Park in Vadavalli has transformed into a tent of anti-social individuals by appearing as bushes. Sharmila, a female councillor, helped clean it by removing and cleaning the bushes.



The residents of the neighborhood were made aware of this and volunteered to assist the councillor. Because the parks haven't been maintained in the last two years, the goods have disappeared and people can't access them.

A video of a female councillor visiting the field and conducting a cleanliness drive has gone viral now.
