Coimbatore Mayor to chair public grievances meeting on April 18

The public can participate in the Public Grievances Day meeting to be held at the Coimbatore Corporation's main office tomorrow at 10 am under the chairmanship of Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar.



Coimbatore: Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Commissioner, M Prathap has announced that a Public Grievances Day meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar on April 18.

In a statement, the CCMC Commissioner M Prathap said, "Coimbatore Mayor Kalpana Anandakumar will chair a Public Grievances Day meeting from 11 am to 1 pm tomorrow, April 18 at the main office of the Coimbatore Corporation. The general public in the Corporation limits can submit a memorandum to the Mayor on basic amenities such as birth and death certificates, road facilities, electric lights, drinking water facilities, underground sewerage, profession tax, property tax, vacancy tax, new water connection, name change, medical, health, education etc."

"Moreover, immediate action will be taken on these petitions by the departmental Corporation officials. Therefore, the public who come to this Public Grievances Day meeting must wear masks, use sanitizers, maintain social distancing and then can submit their petitions," added the CCMC Commissioner in his statement.
