A call to action: Let’s fix the power problem in Pachapalayam, Coimbatore!

Over 25,000 people live in Jagannathan Nagar in Pachampalayam, Coimbatore. Since there is an electricity problem in the village, the residents have demanded that the electricity board or the municipal corporation take proper action and take efforts to address the problem.

Coimbatore : The people has urged that the area of Pachampalayam's electrical problem be resolved.

Jagannathan Nagar is located in Pachapalayam area of Coimbatore. Here, there are more than 25,000 families. There are also numerous small and medium-sized businesses operating. According to reports, this location has had low voltage for over two years.

The locals have often protested to the power board about this, but no action has been taken as of yet.

Local residents stated:For the past two years, there has been a low voltage issue in their neighborhood. There will be a sudden fluctuation when the electricity comes on regularly for a set period of time. Low Voltage will develop.

As a result, the house's fans, refrigerators, televisions, and grinders have all been damaged.

Furthermore, expensive machinery in businesses is being ruined. This frequently leads to the costly repair of malfunctioning machinery. The industry has also been impacted. The majority of the individuals here work in small and medium-sized businesses.

After suffering significant losses during the Corona time, they are now facing continual losses as a result of these power concerns, as well as mental stress. In this context, we filed a complaint with the Perur Electricity Board. So far, no action has been taken.

If there is an electrical problem, we always call the electricity board staff to remedy it. But, once again, the problem persists. As a result of this issue, some businesses have shut down and left.

Complaints were also submitted at a nearby public grievance redressal camp. The petition was also submitted on the internet. But it was in vain. So, if there is an additional transformer connection to their location, we should be able to solve this problem.

The electrical board or municipal administration should take action to fix the power problem in their area by installing a new additional transformer, which is their primary demand.
