Bandara Kula Welfare Association has filed a petition at the Tirupur Collectorate seeking action against DMK MP A Raja for allegedly spreading defamatory remarks against the Bandara Kula community while addressing a public meeting to mark the chief minister's birth anniversary.


Tirupur: The Tamil Nadu Bandara Kula Welfare Association has filed a petition at the district collector's office seeking action against Nilgiris MP A Raja.



The Nilgiris MP A Raja, who attended a public meeting to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, has been accused of making derogatory and derogatory remarks against Bandara Kula community.

This speech of A Raja has gone viral on YouTube and the people of our community have to be very humiliated by the people of other communities.



They said, “As per the oath taken by the Parliament of India as a Member of Parliament, he is acting arbitrarily and not acting in accordance with the Constitution of India.

Therefore, criminal proceedings should be taken immediately against Nilgiris MP A Raja. They also submitted a petition at the Tirupur district collectorate demanding that the video posted on YouTube about their community be removed immediately.”
