Coimbatore District Collector Kranthikumar Padi personally inspected the EVMs and EVMs stored in the security room of the Coimbatore South Tahsildar's office in the presence of authorised political party leaders.
Coimbatore: In Coimbatore district, 7,579 EVMs, 4,436 EVMs and 1,340 EVMs have been stocked for election use.
The security room is being inspected four times a year for safety of these machines.
Accordingly, the District Collector personally inspected the EVMs and EVMs stored in the security room of the South Tahsildar's office today in the presence of authorised political party personalities.
Revenue Divisional Officer Pandharinathan, District Collector's Personal Assistant (Election) Gunasekaran and political party leaders were present during the inspection.
