The 49th International India International Knit Fair in Tirupur showcased a variety of knitwear varieties such as summer and winter garments, synthetic garments, winter garments and fabric varieties, children's clothing, etc.
Tirupur: In a bid to provide new market opportunities to Indian hosiery exporters internationally, tirupur is being organized annually.
In this context, the 49th International Knitwear Exhibition was organized by the Readymade Garment Export Promotion Council of India Knitwear Association. It was held from March 22 to March 24 at the IKF premises in Palangarai.

During the three-day event, a variety of knitwear varieties such as summer and winter garments, synthetic garments, winter garments and fabrics, children's clothing, etc., were exhibited on behalf of the knitwear companies that participated in the exhibition.

Hundreds of textile traders and trade agencies from various countries such as the US, Europe and the UK have visited the exhibition and conducted trade investigations. An immediate business of Rs 200 crore was created and a business investigation of Rs 400 crore took place. Sakthivel, president of the Federation of Indian Export Companies, said the exhibition will boost export orders other than cotton garments by $1 billion in the next two years.
