Major fire in steam ironing shop as boiler explodes near Singanallur

Coimbatore: A major fire broke out due to a boiler explosion at a steam ironing shop in singanallur.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot and put out the fire.

According to sources the steam ironing shop is functioning at a private shopping complex in Singanallur.



The fire seems to have been caused by an explosion in the boiler kept for steaming at this shop. The fire tenders, who rushed to the spot after receiving information about the fire, fought for a long time to douse the fire.



The clothes inside had been completely destroyed in the fire.



Due to the fire that broke out on the Trichy main road, traffic was disrupted for some time there.

It is to be noted that a major untoward incident was averted as there were no people inside the shop when the fire broke out.
