Coimbatore: On behalf of the Coimbatore North District Congress Party, protests were held at various places to condemn the BJP's suppression of Rahul Gandhi. Protests were held at Thondamuthur, RS Puram, Karamadai, Gudalur, and Karumathampatti.

District President VMC Manokaran led the demonstration at Karumathampatti, state administrators V Ganesh Murthy, Palayur Selvaraj, V Vijayakumar, Kittampalayam Panchayat Council President VMC Chandrasekhar and City President Balasubramaniam oversaw the protest.

The cadres mentioned that the BJP government has been systematically threatening Rahul Gandhi. Various intimidation programs are being carried out by the central intelligence department, enforcement department and the government administration. BJP is taking these anti-democratic activities to hide its economic failure and administrative failure, to hide the allegations against Adani and the Prime Minister and divert the attention of the people.

Today, Rahul Gandhi is walking in the country as the only leader who speaks the truth, and honesty, if he is controlled or silenced by intimidation, BJP is working with a dictatorial trend with the dream of winning the elections in the coming year 2024.
