'Tamil Nadu Online gaming prohibition bill will not stand the scrutiny of the Courts,' says MLA Vanathi Srinivasan

“The guilty should be punished, but why do such problems arise now, when it was not there in the last ten years? It is wrong to point fingers at the BJP IT wing” Vanathi said.

Coimbatore: Demanding to know whether the Tamil Nadu Online gaming prohibition bill will stand the scrutiny of the courts, Vanathi Srinivasan, Coimbatore South MLA said the TN Governor R. N. Ravi has raised the same question for returning the bill. But 'ash sending’ protest was held by Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam against the Governor's move.

After conferring “Sushma Swaraj’ awards to women achievers as part of Women’s day celebrations the legislator addressed the reporters in the city.

“Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam is finding fault with the BJP IT wing, instead of concentrating on the maintenance of law and order situation in the state. Has the CM lost faith in the state police?” Vanathi said.

Alleging that the speeches of TN Ministers and leaders have triggered such attacks on migrant workers she said and added “even in the city, an incident took place two days ago”.

“The guilty should be punished, but why do such problems arise now, when it was not there in the last ten years? It is wrong to point fingers at the BJP IT wing” Vanathi said

While talking about the AiADMK- BJP equation, she said "some functionaries in the BJP and the AIADMK have different opinions.

When BJP National President JP Nadda came to Krishnagiri last week this was conveyed to the national leadership, He has called upon all the leaders of his party and advised them to ensure that such undesirable things do not recur” she said.

While speaking about drinking water scarcity in the city, Vanathi Srinivasan said and alleged "the water level in Siruvani has gone down even before the onset of summer. We have been stressing to raise the storage level in the dam for so long, but nothing has been done in this regard”.
