Mirra's Coffee opens first retail outlet in R.S.Puram in the city

Mirra's Coffee has entered in the direct retail outlets venture by opening its first shop in R.S.Puram. The company plans to set up 100 such outlets by 2025 and it has also opened up the franchise model for entreprueners.


Coimbatore: Coimbatore-headquartered Mirra's Coffee from the House of Asia's first planter has opened its first retail outlet, serving freshly- ground coffee powder in the city at T.V.Swamy Road, R.S. Puram.

The Outlet which was opened on Monday, will be a one-stop shop for customers to buy freshly- ground coffee powder with three different blends, namely Agraharam Blend, Plantation PB Blend and Mirra's Special Blend, and also buy 32 home products under the brand name Mirra's like Oil, Ghee, Honey etc.

The outlet will also serve fresh & hot Mirra's Filter Coffee for the city customers.



Mr.N. Sundaravadivelu, Senior Advocate and former special Public Prosecutor for the CBI and District Governor Nominee Designate, Rotary International District 3201 of Rotary Club of Coimbatore inaugurated the outlet.

The first sale was received by the granddaughter of the CEO Ms.Shreya Visalakshi.

Mirra's Coffee India Pvt Ltd. has its own plantation in Coorg, and produces premium filter coffee powder, instant coffee powder and flavoured coffee powder at its manufacturing plant in Coimbatore and caters to the world in retail, wholesale, e-commerce modes, and also has a strong Institutional clientele, some of them include ITC Hotels, Taj Hotels & Resorts, Marriot Hotels.



According to Sundar.Subramanian, MD and CEO “Mirra's Coffee has entered in the direct retail outlets venture. The company plans to set up 100 such outlets by 2025 and it has also opened up the franchise model”.



“Through an investment of Rs.80 crore, Mirra's Coffee will also upgrade its machinery & infrastructure using advanced German technology to increase its production capacity up to 1 ton coffee powder per hour” he noted.



He added that people looking to set up a business can make use of the Franchise model offered by the company, and gain huge profits with an investment of less than Rs.5 lakhs.”

“Mirra's Coffee is the only brand that won't charge any royalty or franchise fee, which makes the offer even more attractive” the MD noted.
