Two wheeler 'Road Safety week’ Awareness rally held at Palladam

A two-wheeler Road safety Awareness rally was held at Palladam in Tirupur district. Deputy Superintendent of Police Sowmya flagged off the rally.



Tirupur: The 34th Road Safety Week was observed at Palladam in which Palladam Rainbow Rotary Association, Palladam Traffic Police, and Palladam Taluk Mechanic Welfare Association jointly organized a two-wheeler awareness rally on wearing helmets was held.



Palladam DSP Sowmya flagged off the rally which started at Palladam four road junction road.



The two-wheeler rally, passed through Chettipalayam section via Coimbatore-Trichy National Highway, passed through NGR Road and culminated at four road again.



Sweets were distributed to those riding two-wheelers wearing helmets on the Coimbatore-Trichy national highway and those who came in the car wearing seat belts.



Palladam police inspector Manikandan, Traffic inspector Thirunavukkarasu, and general public took part.
