Black tickets of Vijay’s 'Varisu' sold for a premium at Palladam

The sale of 'Varisu' film tickets on WhatsApp by the office bearers of Vijay Makkal Mandram for a premium at Palladam in Tirupur district has raised the hackles of many.


Tirupur: Actor Vijay's upcoming film 'Varisu' has been released across Tamil Nadu today.



At Palladam the film is released at Alankar Theatre and the ticket for which has been sold for a premium in the black market .

The first day show tickets for the film were available for Rs 550 in the black market and what was shocking was that the black ticket sale was done on behalf of the Tirupur ( South district) youth wing of Vijay Makkal Mandram.

The fact that the tickets for the first day's first show were being sold at a high price by the office bearers of Vijay Fan Club has shocked many.



The general public have appealed to the Palladam police to take appropriate action on the Vijay Fan Club which was selling the tickets of 'Varisu' on WhatsApp at a higher price.



The public has requested the Police to take strict action against the theatres as well.
