Four persons have been arrested for allegedly assaulting a man, who questioned their drunken debauchery near his house in Kavundampalayam.
Coimbatore: Anburaj is a native of Luna Nagar in Kavundampalayam. About four tipplers were shouting and causing nuisance near his house when Anburaj reprimanded them.
Peeved at this, the four brutally attacked Anburaj and fled the scene.
Anburaj, who was injured in the incident, was rescued by his neighbours and admitted to a private hospital for treatment where he was given three sutures for a cut wound on his face.
Anburaj lodged a complaint at Thudiyalur police station following which Police arrested.
