New Year celebrations should not continue beyond 1 am - Tirupur City Police Commissioner

Tirupur Police Commissioner appealed to New year revellers to observe rules and celebrate a safe New Year 2023.



Tirupur: Tirupur city Police have restricted New Year celebrations and the revelry would not be allowed beyond 1 am.

According to Tirupur City Police, Commissioner Prabhakaran cars and bikes and other vehicles will be detained if they are driven at high speed.



Tirupur City Police Commissioner Prabhakaran presented commendation certificates to the police personnel who performed well in the line of duty in 2022.



“The city police personnel have performed well and cracked murder cases, robbery and dacoity cases, checked sale of ganja, sale of gutkha, sale of lottery and gambling in the past year” Commissioner of Police noted.

The Commissioner appealed to New year revellers to observe rules and celebrate a safe New Year 2023.
